    Hard decision

    Tuesday, May 8, 2007, 11:31 AM [General]

Well unfortunately I had to make a hard decision.  I am giving my gsd away to a new family w/older children due to her jumping all over my girls and myself.  She is a great dog but her jumping is out of control.  And in the next year we are planning on having another child and I can't afford to lose a child because of her jumping I would probably kill her myself.  Having one preemie is hard enough, I don't want to have any more issues that I don't already have.  Please don't condemn me I'm making the right decision for me and my family an no one else has the right to tell me I'm wrong.

    vacation Dorney Park

    Tuesday, March 6, 2007, 10:27 AM [General]

Well I've made my vacation plans.  In June my daughter and I are going to nj to visit my family and go to Dorney Park.  It's always fun to visit home and see my best friends and cousins.  Especially since were waiting for the arrival of a new cousin.  Lassair loves going on the plane and is easily entertained.  They even let her visit the cockpit last flight.  She's been flying since she was about 6 mos old.  She's a pro already and has her own luggage and so far I really haven't had to buy her any clothes since her birth unless I liked something I saw.  Which is wonderful.  My mom says she doesn't want anymore grandkids just this one than she'd have to split attention from her favorite grandchild.  But were planning another one for 08 so she'll just have to deal w/it.  My mom loves her more than me I think sometimes but that's ok.  She's just to cute not to love.  Dorney Park is always fun and Lassair likes it this is her 2nd time there.  She remembers alittle about it.  This time were bringing shoes though so that she can go on rides.  And Lassair will get to meet her boyfriend Frankie that lives w/my one best friend in Pa.  She'll get to see him finally and he thinks she's beautiful.

    creatures apart of our lives

    Saturday, March 3, 2007, 02:34 PM [General]

Well it's been a yr since I've had my Hexe (GSD) and let me say that I don't think that I could live w/out her.  She means the world to me and I don't think the world would be much fun w/out her in it.  I wholeheartedly feel bad for people who don't have a pet or don't know the joy that an animal can bring to them.  She is almost a second child in my house.  I cook for her at times and make cookies for her just like I do for my own daughter.  Some people just don't understand how fulfilling they really are.  Now I'm not the only crazy one who loves german shedders as we call them.  There are many of us cooky people out there but I love being one of those people.  Whenever someone strange approaches in a car or out and about I have no fear as my Hexe will come between us to say hey that's my mom.  Just the other day a guy in a car swerved a bit to wide around the turn and stopped by us and he said sorry well my eyes were on him and I looked down and Hexe was between the car and my daughter and me.  What a brave dog.  She is very sweet to everyone sometimes too sweet.  But most would never think so because oh my what a big dog although for a female she's on the smaller side of the acceptable height.  She has even stopped people from coming onto our property from stealing an old bike that doesn't work either way.  But I'm glad that she did that way I know she won't let anyone take things from my property.  She is loved on our walks and is always complimented on how pretty she is.  What would I do w/out her or my favorite kitty Pooh who is such the crone of the house and just like me.  Just give me attention and she's happy.  Alright I've said to much but I love my furbabies and couldn't live w/out them.

Are you smarter than a 5th grader

    Friday, March 2, 2007, 08:26 AM [General]

The new show w/Jeff foxworthy came out lastnight to see how smart we as adults are against young children.  Well let me say that I am smarter than a 5th grader as the show progresses.  The only problem I have are w/Science questions as that is the worst subject for me.  Now I'm not a genius but come on how hard is it to know that the largest species of bear in the wold is the polar bear and walrus' are native to the arctic.  how many e's are there in the pledge of allegiance.  We as adults really don't remember anything after elementary school and don't really care unless it's part of our daily lifestyle.  How many states border the pacific ocean.  This will be interesting when it is all said and done to see who really is smarter than a 5th grader.  I would love to go on that show and see if I could do it.  The only thing that is totally hilarious is if you want to drop out  u have to say I am not smarter than a 5 th grader.  SO FUNNY!!!!

    disney world

    Wednesday, February 28, 2007, 08:52 AM [General]

It was a wonderful sunny day here in florida as we started out for orldando at 8:30 and arrived an hour later.  The girls saw Clara Belle the Cow first but didn't want to say hi to her so we made our way in and saw Daisy Duck.  Well of course they wanted to see Daisy.  So we waited and they saw Daisy.  My little one isn't as adventurous some one has to go w/her.  She loved seeing all the princesses and had to do the dumbo ride and it's a small world.  I think her favorite show of the day was mickey's once upon a dream at the castle.  She was in aww the entire show and just kept waving at everyone.  We went to see Mickey Philhar Magic and that was a big hit as well.  We also went on Pirates of the carribean as I love that movie and went to the Tiki Room.  We saw the parade and rushed to get my stepdaughter her souvenir before the shops closed and lastly we saw the fireworks and my Lassair loved them and seeing Tinkerbell flying down from the castle and the fireworks.  My stepdaughter hates loud noises and had her ears covered the whole time but it was a wonderful day.
